Our Story
CNC Intelligence began as a collaboration between professionals in cyber intelligence, cryptocurrency investigations, asset tracing, and offshore legal work. With more than 40 years of combined experience, the founding team set out to build a boutique investigative firm capable of handling complex cross-border cases involving cryptocurrency, cybercrime, and hidden assets.
Growth of the Investigations Team
Over the years, CNC Intelligence has strengthened its investigative capabilities by bringing in leaders with federal law-enforcement and intelligence backgrounds. This included the appointment of Roman Garcia as Head of Global Investigations. A licensed private investigator and former FBI Special Agent with 11 years of service, Roman brought experience in interviewing and interrogation, handling informants, undercover operations, behavioral analysis, counterterrorism, public corruption investigations, and surveillance operations.
Earlier, the Investigations Department expanded under Seth A. Gordon, a former U.S. Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Analyst and Security Specialist with 17 years of service. Gordon’s background—with roles including Inspector, Supervisor, Communications Specialist, and Chairman of the Ethics Committee for the City of Long Beach, NY—helped strengthen the analytical and intelligence functions within CNC Intelligence.
Building a Global Cyber Intelligence Network
As CNC Intelligence expanded, so did its technical and operational capabilities. The company combines OSINT, HUMINT, blockchain forensics, cyber intelligence, and professional investigative tools to develop actionable intelligence in matters involving cryptocurrency, cybercrime, asset tracing, and financial fraud.
Headquartered in Washington, DC, CNC Intelligence established its Cybint Operations Center in Rehovot, Israel and its Global Investigations Head Office in Knoxville, Tennessee, reflecting the firm’s international reach and investigative capabilities.
The continued development of our investigative team and international operations supports CNC Intelligence’s work in cryptocurrency forensics, asset tracing, cyber intelligence, and cyber-enabled financial crime investigations.
Expert Cyber Investigation Services
Our investigative team includes professionals with U.S. private-investigation licensing, cryptocurrency-investigation certifications, cyber intelligence experience, and backgrounds in investigations spanning multiple continents.
Advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Services
Our team uses Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), cyber intelligence, and other lawful investigative methods to develop relevant information and actionable investigative intelligence.
Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset Tracking
CNC Intelligence traces transactions across major blockchain networks and digital assets. Depending on the blockchain, transaction data, and movement of funds, investigators may be able to follow transaction flows and identify relevant wallets, exchanges, and other service providers.
Strategic Investigative Intelligence
Asset tracing and investigative intelligence can help establish where assets are located and identify relevant parties, entities, or service providers. Our team develops actionable intelligence that may support authorized investigative, legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement next steps.
Approach
How We Conduct Asset Investigations
We believe that quality intelligence leads to better-informed decisions. Cybercriminals and fraud networks can use sophisticated methods to conceal assets, identities, business relationships, and transaction activity across multiple jurisdictions and digital platforms.
CNC Intelligence combines investigative analysis, asset tracing, blockchain intelligence, OSINT, cyber intelligence, and other lawful investigative methods to help clients better understand complex financial and cyber-enabled activity.
Our intelligence may assist in developing leads concerning individuals, entities, transaction activity, service providers, and the location of relevant assets. Findings can be documented for attorneys, law enforcement, financial institutions, corporations, and other authorized parties evaluating appropriate next steps.
